December 1, 2024 — Apply early to maximize your aid.

Aptil 2, 2025

🧾 Required Income Information:
Use 2023 income when completing your 2025–2026 FAFSA or CADAA.

📆 Final Application Deadline:
Submit by June 30, 2026 — but 51AV��Ƶ must receive your complete and correct information before your last day of enrollment for 2025–2026.

Get Your Financial Aid Offer on Time

2025–2026 Academic Year

Submit all required financial aid documents by June 27, 2025, and you will receive your Financial Aid Offer before classes begin.

• Fall 2025 semester starts on August 11, 2025.
• Avoid delays and long processing times by finishing early.

💰 Financial Aid Disbursement Schedule

📆 2025–2026 Academic Year

Fall 2025

• 1st Disbursement: August 12, 2025
• 2nd Disbursement: September 5, 2025

Spring 2026

• 1st Disbursement: January 13, 2026
• 2nd Disbursement: February 6, 2026

Summer 2025

• Disbursements begin: June 6, 2025
• Disbursed weekly thereafter

Disbursements for summer are based on your enrollment date and course start dates.

⏱️ Refund Timing and Enrollment Status

You will receive your refund 4 to 21 days after the payment appears on your MyVCCCD portal account, depending on the payment method you chose and the date your classes begin. The date noted on your MyVCCCD portal is an internal processing date ONLY. Please be aware this is NOT the disbursement date for your funds. Your payment schedule reflects a full-time enrollment assumption. If you are not enrolled full-time, the amount you will receive will be less and prorated based on your actual enrollment.

🎯 Pell Recalculation Dates (PRD)

Your financial aid awards may be increased or decreased based on your enrollment as of the Pell Recalculation Date (PRD).

No revisions will be made to your financial aid award(s) after the PRD for each term.

📆 2025–2026 Academic Year

Fall 2025

• September 2, 2025, at noon.

Spring 2026

• February 2, 2026, at noon.

ℹ️ What You Need to Know

• Your Pell Grant and other need-based awards will be based on your enrollment level (full-time, part-time, etc.) as of the PRD.
• If you add or drop classes after the PRD, your award amount will not be adjusted.
• Enroll early and finalize your schedule before the PRD to maximize your eligibility.

📝 Federal Direct Loan Request Deadlines

Loan request deadlines will be posted once confirmed. Please check back regularly or contact the Financial Aid Office for updates.

ℹ️ Important Information

• To request a Federal Direct Loan, you must complete all loan requirements and submit your request by the deadline listed for your term.
• We recommend submitting your request at least 2–3 weeks before the deadline to ensure processing time.
• All loan requests must be for students actively enrolled in at least 6 financial aid-eligible units.

��� Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Appeal Deadlines

Students who do not meet SAP standards must submit a SAP Appeal by the deadline listed for their term. Appeals submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

• Appeals must include all required documentation and be submitted by the deadline to be considered for financial aid reinstatement.
• Late appeals will not be reviewed.
