FERPAÌýaffords students certain rights with respect to their education records, including the right to:
- Inspect their education records
- Request an amendment of the records that the student believes are inaccurate
- Control disclosures of personally identifiable information contained in the students' education records, except to the extent thatÌýFERPAÌýauthorizes disclosure without consent.
- File a complaint with theÌýÌýconcerning alleged failures by the college to comply with the requirements ofÌýFERPA.
Parents, spouses and significant others have no inherent right to access student educational records.
