Kimaree Gilad, oboist, soloist, recording artist, festival artist and recitalist, is Oboe Faculty at CSU Northridge and Ventura college. Her orchestral performing career includes being a member and featured soloist of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra from 1983-2013, press applaud 鈥渓yrical melodies with velvety sounds鈥. Has performed with renowned orchestras and ensembles such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic and others.
Ms. Gilad鈥檚 recordings span orchestral, chamber, film, and contemporary music. Was part of the Grammy Award-winning recording of Penderecki鈥檚 Credo. Motion picture recordings include Matrix movies.
In the Festpel in Piteo, Sweden, she was hailed as 鈥渢he highlight of the program.鈥
