The need to remove financial barriers for students and expand educational access is more pressing than ever. With a striking 55 percent of 51AVÊÓƵ students facing food insecurity, especially during the pandemic, the 51AVÊÓƵ Foundation’s Board of Directors escalated our financial commitment to 51AVÊÓƵ’s Basic Needs Food Pantry and Emergency Grant Program. The VC Foundation’s Board recently pledged to invest further in the Basic Needs Center by raising philanthropic funds that will provide long-term sustainability to this vital campus program.
