If you are enrolled as a student through California Virtual Campus-OEI, you will need to drop the unwanted class by following the CVC-OEI process. (For assistance, please visit the .)��

Refunds are processed through the Students Business Office. In order to qualify for a refund, you must drop your classes by the deadline stated in the , or on your . After your classes have been dropped, a request for a refund can be made through the Student Business office. Credits will NOT be authorized for drops or withdrawals occurring after the refund deadline date. 

Complete the to request a refund. Refunds are subject to an administrative fee of $10.  

The class should be accessible through your Home College Canvas account so you should not need to log in separately to the Teaching College to access the course.

To drop a class, go to your CVC Profile at:  and sign in with your home college credentials.

Once you have signed in, you can drop the class by going to your profile Dashboard: 

1. Select the Drop Class button next to the class you wish to drop. (This will open a Drop Notification screen with the drop deadlines.)
2. You must select the Drop Course button from the pop-up screen that appears.
3. Refresh your Dashboard and the course should appear in the Dropped Classes field at the bottom of your screen.

The drop deadlines for classes vary depending on the length of the class. It is the student’s responsibility who wishes to withdraw from a class to do so by the deadline dates published in the most recent Catalog, Schedule of Classes, and the website.

Withdrawal Prior to Census (20% of instruction): Students who withdraw or are withdrawn from weekly census sections prior to census (or 20% of the instructional time frame for all other section accounting methods) shall have no notation made to the permanent record. Students can drop courses via the  up until the last date to drop without a “W”.

Withdrawal 20% - 75% of Instruction: Students who withdraw or are withdrawn from weekly census sections on or after census (or 20% of the instructional time frame for all other section accounting methods) and through the end of the fourteenth week (or 75% of the instructional time frame) shall have a “W” posted to the permanent record.

To request a tuition waiver for courses taken at the Teaching College, a CVC Exchange student will be required to complete a separate California College Promise Grant(CCPG) Application at the Teaching College.

This Fee Waiver permits enrollment fees to be waived for eligible California residents. 51AV��Ƶ offers an . If eligible, your Fee Waiver should process within 24 hours; check your financial aid eligibility status on the  portal. If you have questions, contact the Financial Aid Office.
