The Student Transfer Achievement Reform Act (STAR) enables the California Community Colleges (CCC) and California State University (CSU) to collaborate on the creation ofÌýAssociate in Arts (AA-T) and Associate in Science (AS-T) Degree transfer programs.Ìý This law requires community colleges to grant an Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) to a student onceÌýa student has met specified general education and major requirements for the degree.ÌýÌýUpon completion of the associate degree, the student is eligible for transfer withÌýjunior standing into the California State University (CSU) system.ÌýÌýÌý
